Rieke Marie Kaiser is a historian and research associate at the project DiViAS. Her research focuses on maritime history of the 17^th and 18^th century as well as Digital Humanities. She is currently working on her PhD thesis titled “The Road full of Ships” – Spatial, Temporal and Social Dimensions of Early Modern Movement, where she’s working with logbooks and journals from the Prize Papers collection to track the movement of ships, people and objects and analyse what influenced it.
