Concluded Projects

This section presents concluded research projects that were conducted about the source material from the Prize Papers collection at The National Archives by researchers affiliated with our team. 

Dr. Lucas Haasis' Power of Persuasion analyses the mercantile establishment phase on the basis of the Hamburg whole-sale merchant Nicolaus Gottlieb Luetkens. 

Suzanne Amy Foxley studies the collection in a judical history of the British-American relationship to see how independence was achieved through the practice of taking prizes.
